DBSK consist of 5 members: Hero JaeJoong, U-Know YunHo, Micky YooChun, Xiah Junsu and Max Changmin.

Dong Bang Shin Ki are also knowns as DBSG/DBSK, TVXQ, TVfXQ, Tohoshinki (THSK) or 東方神起. The name of the band translated means "Rising Gods from the East".

The band is under SM Entertainment and specializes in singing, dance, acapella and acting. DBSK made their first appearance in December 2003 during a BoA and Britney Speares Showcase. They debuted in 2004 with their first single Hug. Their debut single was a bubblegum pop song, however their music consist a wide range of genres such as RnB, pop and ballads. DBSK's RnB songs usually has outstanding and styled outfits and choreographed dance moves.

However when DBSK is in Japan, they are under the company AVEX.
